Compounding OTC Order: Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA)

Composition and typical use:

Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) at 300mg or 400mg .

PEA is a fatty acid and a substance that is naturally made by our bodies and obtained from protein rich foods such as soy bean, egg yolk and meat.   It is a glial modulator and PEA acts as a anti-inflammatory and pain reliever.

Uses include:  Pain, Osteoarthritis, Diabetic neuropathy, Carpal Tunnel syndrome, Back pain, Sciatica, Migraines, Shingles, Trigeminal neuralgia, dental pain, Fibromyalgia, Neuropathic pain.   

It is non-addictive and there are no known significant side-effects - however if you do experience any side effects please contact the team at Midland Pharmacy & Compounding Centre as soon as possible.

Dosage:  1 capsule initially, then increasing to 2 capsules morning and evening.

Whilst we may be able to provide you with this medication earlier, generally we require 48 hours notice.   We are also able to post medication securely to you using Australia Post - simply ask for a quote for postage.
